Sundara and Ananda BOTH have a really bad center image problem, Ananda can be helped (not completely fixed though) with non angled pads, the Sundara can't. (vertical imaging is something that no dynamic driver headphone does very well)Īudeze can't make an accurate gaming headphone to save their life.ĭT990 is meh, but its big brother, the T1.2 is hands down the best dynamic driver headphone on the market for gaming, far surpassing the HD800s imo. Great imaging though but with pretty poor height. ![]() It's bad and it matters and it boils my fucking blood that people rant and rave about it being "tHe BeSt GaMiNg HeAdPhOnE oN tHe PlAnEt" because it just straight up is not. The HD800s has a pathetically inaccurate soundstage and gauging distance after around 10-15 feet is a coin toss. The HE6se v2 absolutely destroy anything anyone is going to recommend but it has the caveat of needing a really powerful amp and also needs a pair of $11 aftermarket non angled pads to perform like it should, but that's no big deal in the scope of things, imo.
